Links golf since 1921 · Montauk, New York
Golf as it was first played.
Eighteen holes on a mile of Atlantic dunes, a clubhouse with the fire lit from October to April, and tee times for members and visitors every day.

First tee 06:30
Last tee 17:30
Clubhouse until 22:00
Visitors daily after 10:00
A mile of dunes, eighteen holes laid out by hand in 1921 and a wind that changes the course every day. Nothing here has been made easier.
The course has barely changed since the first members walked it. The greens are firm, the bunkers are deep and the gorse is everywhere, which is how the club got its name.
Members play it every day, and visitors are welcome after ten. Bring a windproof and an open mind about your score.
Signature holes

Long Acre
532 yd
Hole 4 · Par 5
The longest hole on the front nine runs along the dunes toward the sea. Two good shots leave a short pitch to a plateau green.

The Pines
404 yd
Hole 9 · Par 4
Turns back through a stand of old pines toward the clubhouse. The approach is played in and out of shadow.

Lochan
187 yd
Hole 12 · Par 3
A small loch sits short and left of the green. In the evening the whole hole is in its reflection.

Long Shore
521 yd
Hole 17 · Par 5
Bunkers in pairs all the way to the green, laid out like stepping stones.
